Colin and K9 Duncan
Walla Walla County SAR
Certified NSDA Area Search & Large Source Cadaver
Colin has been involved in Search and Rescue since 2013. He and K-9 Duncan are trained for large wilderness area searches for missing persons both live and deceased and hope to venture into the realm of human remains forensics in the future. Duncan is a working-line German Shepherd who loves to travel with his handler on backpacking and snowshoeing adventures.
Lacey and K9 Milli

Lacey has been with Search and Rescue since 2007. K-9 Milli is Lacey's first search dog. Milli is a Golden Labrador Retriever born in 2015 and is known for her very affectionate personality. When Milli finds you prepare for licks and a big dog wanting to crawl in your lap! Lacey and Milli have been working together since December 2016.
Jen and K9 Daisy, K9 Reba

Jen and K-9 Daisy joined Search and Rescue in November 2016. Daisy is a 2 yr old bloodhound and has been in training for about a year. Bloodhounds have long ears and many wrinkles on their face to aid them in following human scent trails. Emma and K9 Cadi

Emma has been in Search and Rescue for three years, and has been working with the K9s since she joined, focusing on Human Remains Detection. K-9 Arcadia (Cadi) is a two year old German Shepherd Dog recently certified in basic HRD through the International Police Working Dogs Association. This certification means that she has proven an ability to detect human remains within 2 wilderness acres (per search) that can be up to 6 ft in the air or up to 1 ft buried.

The team is currently training with continually more complex/larger areas and will soon add buildings and vehicles to the scenarios in preparation for passing an advanced certification next fall.

Cat and K9 Izzee, K9 Aimee
Independent

Cat is an independent K9 handler, meeting Washington State Core Comps for Search and Rescue. She is deployed only at the request of Law Enforcement.
K-9 Izzy (age 9) and K-9 Aimee (age 4) are Black German Shepherds that are
certified in Human Remains Detection from the National Search Dog Alliance, specializing in land, buildings, and vehicles searches.
Cat is currently working with the Semper Vigilans Forensic Investigation Team, Lead by Lynn Porter, Idaho. They assist law enforcement with current missing and cold cases. The teams' expertise is in Forensic Anthropology, Archaeology, and Criminal Justice.
Trent and K9 Crusher
Baker County SAR
Certified OSSA Airscent
Trent joined the Search and Rescue in 2017. Crusher is a 1 year old Belgium Malinois bred by Woody Acres Farms. Crusher isn’t your typical Malinois. He loves people and to play with anyone that will show him attention. If he finds you, watch out for his tail! It has been known to get away from him. Trent and Crusher have been working together since December 2017.
