Make a Donation
Our organization always appreciates the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making Search and Rescue K9 Teams an even better resource to aid in an emergency. Donations to the K9 program will be used for training conferences (SARCon), certifications, or equipment costs (GPS trackers). Search and Rescue is a 501c non-profit organization, and we will gladly provide a receipt with our TIN for tax purposes. Please visit our Sheriff's Office Contact page to make a donation with PayPal. To earmark donations please write "K9 Program" in the comment section. You can also contact one of the K9 teams in your county or the County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue nearest you for more information on how to donate.
Join Search and Rescue
Want to join our efforts but not sure where to start? Search and Rescue members are all volunteers, and we always welcome new members. You do not have to live within the country boundaries of the SAR unit you wish to join. There are many fields of SAR training that you can get involved with. Get in touch with your county's Sheriff Office and ask for an application to join. A list of counties that support K9 Teams can be found on the Sheriff's Office Contact page.
Participate in the K9 training
This is one of the funnest ways to help out our cause. Training K9s for this work requires a lot of people and a lot of hours. We believe the best way for our K9 resources to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. People of all ages and physical capacity are welcome to participate. Please contact any of the handlers listed on the Meet the Teams page or your local Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Department and ask to be put in touch with the K9 teams in your area.
